Princeton uses balance to turn back Brown 77-66

PRINCETON, N.J. (AP) Henry Caruso and Steven Cook each scored 14 points to lead Princeton to a 77-66 win over Brown on Saturday night.

Spencer Weisz and Devin Cannady added 10 apiece for the Tigers (18-5, 8-1), who have won six straight to surpass the 16 wins they had last season.

Fresh off of handing Yale its first league loss - 75-63 on Friday - Princeton made 11 of 24 3-pointers and shot 50 percent from the field. Four different players hit two 3s and eight players had at least two assists.

Caruso, Cook and Amir Bell had 3s in a 13-0 run that put the Tigers up 35-17 with 3:50 left in the first half. The Bears went 5:10 without a field goal and trailed 42-27 at the half.

Cedric Kuakumensah had 18 points for Brown (7-17, 2-8). Obi Okolie added 15 points and Steven Spieth had 12 with 11 rebounds and seven assists, which matched his career high.
