PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) Alec Wintering scored 27 points, Bryce Pressley added 15 and Portland snapped a two-game skid with an 80-67 win over Pacific on Saturday night.

Jarrel Marshall and D'Marques Tyson had 10 points apiece for Portland (12-17, 6-10 West Coast Conference), which went 30 for 32 from the free-throw line to Pacific's 9 of 20. Wintering was 6 for 12 from the field and 14 of 16 from the line.

Portland closed the first half with an 11-2 run, sparked by Marshall's 3-point play to break a tie and take a 42-33 advantage into the break. Six minutes into the second half the Pilots stretched their lead to 57-41 on Wintering's 3-point play.

Pacific (7-19, 5-11) cut the deficit to single digits with Eric Thompson's layup to trail 70-62 with 3:00 left, but that's as close as the Tigers got.

Alec Kobre's 12 points led three Tigers in double figures.
