Four-star cornerback LeAnthony Williams has committed to Clemson, he announced Monday in a video posted on Twitter.

Williams, a Roswell, Ga. native, is the class of 2017’s second-ranked cornerback from Georgia and 17th-ranked nationally, according to Scout.com.

“From day one I had always wanted to play big-time college football so that is why I committed to the University of Clemson,” Williams said in the video. “I couldn’t make this decision without my dad, Coach Langford and Kevin Polk. I’m officially all in.”

Williams chose Clemson over offers from Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Notre Dame, Tennessee, Florida and several other schools.

He is the eighth commitment in Clemson’s 2017 recruiting class.
