Two Kansas football players accused of robbing a fellow student were arrested Monday, according to the Lawrence Journal-World.

Eric Rivers and Kendall Duckworth are accused stealing $40 from a man outside a campus residence hall early Saturday morning.

Rivers is also accused of sexual battery and criminal restraint after “a female KU student told police that Rivers touched her ‘inappropriately’ and attempted to remove her clothing without her consent” early Sunday morning, according to the Journal-World.

In a statement to the Journal-World, head coach David Beaty said Rivers was dismissed from the program and Duckworth has been suspended.

Records from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office show that Rivers and Duckworth were released from the county jail Monday afternoon.

Rivers and Duckworth were both two-star recruits. Rivers, a cornerback, transferred to Kansas from a junior college before the 2015 season and redshirted in his first season with Jayhawks. Duckworth played seven games at linebacker as a true freshman in 2015, recording three tackles.
