(STATS) - Savannah State's struggling football program is conducting a national search for a new head coach, but the Tigers have a 2016 schedule in place to greet him.

The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference school announced a 10-game schedule on Wednesday, including four home games.

Earnest Wilson III resigned earlier this month, having compiled a 1-9 record last season and a 2-32 mark over three years. The Tigers have had only one season with more than two wins since moving to the FCS level in 2000.

Savannah State will travel to two FBS opponents to open the new season, first to Georgia Southern on Sept. 3 and then to Southern Mississippi on Sept. 10.

Within the MEAC, the Tigers will host Bethune-Cookman (Sept. 24), Morgan State (Oct. 8), Howard (Oct. 29, Homecoming) and Norfolk State (Nov. 5). Their road conference games will be against Florida A&M (Oct. 1), North Carolina Central (Oct. 15), Hampton (Nov. 12) and South Carolina State (Nov. 19).
