Louisville trustee reaches settlement, Charlie Strong subpoena remanded
A settlement was reached in the divorce case of University of Louisville Board of Trustees member Jonathan Blue, an attorney told reporters on Thursday afternoon. All motions and subpoena for former Cardinals coach Charlie Strong have been remanded.
Blue and his wife, Tracy, were seeking full custody of their two daughters. The couple will reportedly be given joint custody.
Strong, who was the head coach at Louisville from 2010–13, was being requested in the custody case after Blue named him a “critical witness.” Blue believes that Strong knows information that will reveal prior behavior by his estranged wife Tracy that was “inconsistent with being a role model and responsible caretaker” for the couple’s two teenage daughters.

“I was recently given information regarding a marital dispute between a couple I know in Louisville,” Strong said in a statement on Sunday. “I’m not a party to their divorce and have received no court order in this case. I certainly respect the legal system, and if I do receive a court order, I will review it and respond then. Since this is a legal case, it wouldn’t be appropriate for me to say anything further at this time.”
