Fairleigh Dickinson tops Mount St. Mary's 67-54

EMMITSBURG, Md. (AP) Earl Potts Jr. scored 18 points with 10 rebounds and Fairleigh Dickinson topped Mount St. Mary's 67-54 on Thursday night.

Potts was 7 of 12 from the field with four 3-pointers. Marques Townes scored 16 points on 7-of-8 shooting and Darian Anderson added 14 points with seven rebounds, three assists and two steals for the Knights (14-14, 10-7 Northeast), which shot over 48 percent overall and made 7 of 14 from beyond the arc.

The Mountaineers (13-17, 10-7) were led by Junior Robinson with 16 points and Charles Glover added 12. The Mount shot 32 percent and was outrebounded 41-34.

It was close throughout, and Gregory Graves' layup with 3:57 to go drew the Mount within one at 52-51. FDU then closed the game on a 15-3 run to force a four-way tie for second in the conference at 10-7 with Mount St. Mary's, St. Francis Brooklyn and Sacred Heart with one game to play.
