CLINTON, S.C. (AP) Adam Weary scored 23 points and High Point used a hot-shooting second half to claim its fourth consecutive Big South Conference championship by beating Presbyterian, 80-60 Saturday.

The Panthers join Coastal Carolina (1988-91) as the only programs to win four-straight league titles in the 27-year history of the conference. High Point also claims the No. 1 seed into the conference tournament, where they will play the winner of a game between No.8-seed Longwood and No. 9 Charleston Southern Friday.

High Point held just a three-point lead at intermission, but shot 61 percent in the second half to pull away.

Lorenzo Cugini scored 14 points and Miles Bowman Jr. added another 12 points and grabbed nine rebounds to help pace High Point (20-9, 13-5).

DeSean Murray scored 16 points for the Blue Hose (10-19, 5-13). Janeil Jenkins added 11 points.

The victory gave High Point a program-record seventh conference road win.
