BOWLING GREEN, Ohio (AP) Lamonte Bearden and Blake Hamilton scored 20 points apiece - and grabbed five rebounds each - to help Buffalo defeat Bowling Green 87-83 on Friday night.

Ismail Ali converted a 3-point play to put Bowling Green (14-17, 5-13 Mid-American Conference) up five with 4:41 to play.

Bearden hit a 3 and, after a dunk by Antwon Lillard on the other end, Nick Perkins sank another 3-pointer that pulled Buffalo (17-14, 10-8) within 78-77 just more than a minute later.

Spencer Parker made a layup, and then hit 1 of 2 free throws to push the Falcons lead back to four, but a 3-point play by Hamilton and a layup by Bearden gave the Bulls an 82-81 lead with a minute to go.

Parker made a short jumper with 48 seconds left, but Bowling Green committed turnovers on both of its next two possessions and Buffalo closed the game on a 6-0 run.

Parker led the Falcons with 20 points.
