The lights at the Galen Center in Los Angeles went out during USC’s game against Oregon on Saturday.

With the Ducks up by nine at the 5:27 mark in the first half, Oregon freshman Tyler Dorsey had the ball on the left wing when the lights in the arena shut off. According to a school spokesman, a city electrical grid went down, causing a power surge that took the arena’s electricity out for 10 minutes.

Students held their smartphones in the air to provide light, while the Trojans band played.

No. 9 Oregon went on to win 76–66, improving to 25–6 on the year. USC fell to 20–11.
