Florida quarterback Treon Harris and wide receiver Antonio Callaway are currently not practicing with the team for undisclosed reasons, reports Matt Baker of the Tampa Bay Times

It is not clear if the two have been suspended. Coach Jim McElwain said that neither player has been with the team since January.

Callaway was the leading receiver for Florida last season as a freshman, tallying 678 receiving yards on 35 receptions. He finished with four receiving touchdowns, and also returned to punts for scores.

Harris saw major time at quarterback in 10 games for the Gators as a sophomore last season. He finished the season with 1,676 passing yards, nine touchdowns and six interceptions.

Harris became the starter full time after Will Grier, who he competed with for the job during the preseason, was suspended for failing a drug test. He is expected to make a move to wide receiver this season.

McElwain said Tuesday that redshirt junior Luke Del Rio, who transferred from Alabama and Oregon State, has the leg up to take the starting quarterback role going into spring practice, according to Edgar Thompson of the Orlando Sentinel.
