West Virginia receivers coach Lonnie Galloway is expected to become new Louisville offensive coordinator under coach Bobby Petrino, according to Mike Casazza of the Charleston Gazette-Mail.

Former Cardinals offensive coordinator Garrick McGee accepted the same position on Lovie Smith's staff at Illinois.

Last month, Galloway signed a contract extension that kept him in Morgantown through 2017 before accepting a pay raise with Louisville. Galloway was earning $375,000 a year in his most recent contract, according to Casazza. McGee was earning $850,000 at Louisville last year.

Galloway has also coached at Wake Forest, Appalachian State and East Carolina in addition to his two stints with West Virginia.
