Denzel Valentine thanks Michigan State fans in Instagram post

Michigan State guard Denzel Valentine thanked his team’s fans in an Instagram post.

In a post on his personal Instagram page, Michigan State Spartans guard Denzel Valentine thanked his team’s fans on Saturday.

Valentine’s senior season for Michigan State ended with an upset loss, as the No. 2 Spartans fell to No. 15 Middle Tennessee State during the NCAA tournament on Friday. 

Valentine averaged 19.4 points, 7.6 rebounds and 7.6 assists per game for the Spartans this season. He won Big Ten Player of the Year and Big Ten Tournament MVP. Valentine was also an integral part of the Spartans team which made last year’s Final Four.

In his post, Valentine said he has “no regrets” for everything he gave the program.

Valentine was namedSports Illustrated’s National Player of the Year earlier this month. He is ranked No. 15 on SI.com’s Big Board for the upcoming NBA draft.
