Four-star linebacker Joshua Ross has committed to Michigan, he announced Tuesday on Twitter.

Ross is the No. 228 overall recruit and 10th-ranked player at his position in the class of 2017, according to Scout.com. He is also the top-ranked inside linebacker in the Midwest.

A Michigan native, Ross is the younger brother of former Michigan linebacker James Ross III. 

He also seriously considered Michigan State, Ohio State and Notre Dame during the recruiting process.

Ross is the sixth commitment in Michigan’s 2017 class.
