Providence forward Ben Bentil will declare for the 2016 NBA draft, reports Evan Daniels of Scout.com.

Daniels reports that Bentil will not sign with an agent, leaving the option to return to the Friars open.

The sophomore has averaged 22.1 points, 7.7 rebounds and 1.1 assists in two seasons with Providence.

The Friars fell in to the No. 1 North Carolina Tar Heels in the NCAA tournament's round of 32 on Saturday. Bentil scored 21 points against the the Tar Heels.
