South Carolina quarterback Perry Orth broke his collarbone during a scrimmage on Saturday, according to The State. The senior, who started eight games last season, will miss the remainder of spring practices after undergoing surgery on Saturday.
The school was not able to confirm the injury to the paper.
Orth finished the 2015 season with 1,929 yards and 12 touchdowns with nine interceptions. He is the second Gamecocks signalcaller to go down with an ailment during the off-season, joining Lorenzo Nunez.
