CBS and Turner Sports announced that vocals by Luther Vandross and Jennifer Hudson will not be used for “One Shining Moment” at the end of this year’s NCAA tournament. A new artist will be used, the networks said on a conference call.

CBS and Turner will announce details on the singer or group over the next few days.

The annual tradition concludes CBS and Turner’s broadcasts with a montage of memorable highlights and low points from the year’s tournament.

The song, originally written by David Barrett, was first used after Indiana defeated Syracuse in the 1987 NCAA championship game. Barrett’s original was used from 1987 to 1993 and then again from 2000 to 2002. CBS also has used renditions by Teddy Pendergrass from 1994 to 1999 and Vandross from 2003 to 2009 as well as 2011 to 2015. Hudson’s version was used for the 2010 broadcast.
