Among those in attendance for the national championship game between Connecticut and Syracuse was NBA commissioner Adam Silver.
Silver attended the game with his wife and NCAA president Mark Emmert.

The Huskies led the Orange 50–23 at halftime and won their fourth consecutive national championship, 82–51.
