Four-star DT Cam Spence commits to Maryland

Four-star defensive tackle Cam Spence announced his verbal commitment to Maryland on Twitter on Friday.
Spence, who is from Maryland but currently plays at IMG Academy in Florida, chose the Terps over Ole Miss, North Carolina, Ohio State and Penn State.
Scout ranks the 6'3", 295-pound defensive tackle as the No. 21 recruit at his position and the No. 273 overall prospect for the class of 2017.

“Blessed to announce that I am 100% committed to the university of Maryland,” Spence wrote on Twitter.
He is the third commitment to Maryland’s class of 2017, joining tight end Andrew Park and cornerback Fofie Bazzie.
