Oregon’s Dillon Brooks declares for NBA draft

Oregon forward Dillon Brooks will declare for the 2016 NBA draft, but will not hire an agent, he told ESPN.
“I love Oregon and everything the program has done for me,” Brooks said. “I feel it's the right move to test the waters and declare for the draft without an agent. I'm going to go through the process and see where I'm at.”
Coach Dana Altman confirmed Thursday that Brooks and guard Tyler Dorsey are considering the NBA, but are still enrolled at Oregon.
Brooks, a sophomore, averaged 16.7 points and 5.4 rebounds for the Ducks this season while leading the team to a No. 1 seed in the NCAA tournament. Oregon eventually lost to Oklahoma in the Elite Eight.

Brooks has until May 25 to withdraw from the draft and still retain his collegiate eligibility.
