Tennessee has added four-star defensive tackle Eric Crosby of Ocean Lakes (Virginia Beach, Va.) to its recruiting class for 2017, according to Scout.com.

Crosby is ranked as the No. 7 defensive tackle in his class. The Vols' 2017 recruiting class is now up to seven members.

He tore his MCL in his sophomore campaign.

Head coach Butch Jones expressed his excitement on Twitter shortly after Crosby's decision.

The 6-foot-1, 285-pound junior was also considering Alabama, Clemson, N.C. State and Virginia Tech before selecting the Hokies and Vols as his finalists.
