Legendary Indiana basketball coach Bobby Knight will join presidential hopeful Donald Trump at a rally in Indiana ahead of next week’s primary, according to Mau Raji of Politico.

Knight’s 902 wins are No. 2 all-time for Division I men’s basketball.

Trump is slated speak at Indiana Farmer’s Coliseum at the Indiana State Fairgrounds on Wednesday with Knight by his side.

Donald Trump: “Leave Tom Brady alone!”

The billionaire told supporters at a Connecticut rally that he was hopeful for Knight’s endorsement.

“Tough, strong, smart. I would like to get that for Indiana, I’ll tell you what. To me, that would be a great endorsement,” he said.

Trump looks to close in on the Republican presidential nomination as fellow candidates Ted Cruz and John Kasich announced plans to unite to prevent Trump from reaching the number of delegates to clinch the nomination. Trump holds a slim lead in Indiana polls.
