The Florida Gators and Miami Hurricanes will play each other in 2019 as part of the Camping World Kickoff, the series announced Tuesday.

The Gators and Hurricanes have not played each other since 2013, when Miami defeated Florida 21–16 at home under then-head coach Al Golden. The in-state rivals used to play each other annually until 1987, and have played only six games played since.

The two storied programs will face each other in Orlando, Fla., in 2019, north of Miami and east of Gainesville. The game will mark the seventh time the two schools have met at a neutral field.

Miami leads the all-time series with Florida 29–26. The Canes have won five of the six meetings since 1987, one of which took place in New Orleans for the Sugar Bowl.

The Gators are entering the upcoming season in their second year under head coach Jim McElwain, while Miami hired former Georgia coach Mark Richt to lead the program earlier this year.
