Four-star quarterback Braxton Burmeister has committed to Arizona, he announced on Twitter on Friday.

“I would...like to thank all the coaches that have put (their) time and effort into recruiting me,” Burmeister wrote. “I appreciate all that you have done and the opportunity to play at your school. With that being said, I have decided to commit to play at the University of Arizona.”

Scout.com ranks Burmeister as the No. 19 quarterback prospect in the 2017 recruiting class and the No. 2 quarterback in the state of California.

The 6'1", 195-pound California native was also considering Cal, Florida and Washington, among other schools.
