Alabama’s Cam Robinson and Laurence “Hootie” Jones were arrested early Tuesday morning in Louisiana on drug possession and weapons charges, reports Bleacher Report’s Barrett Sallee.

Both players were carrying weapons and marijuana at the time of their arrests, but Robinson was carrying a stolen weapon, which is considered a felony charge.

According to Brett McMurphy of ESPN, Alabama coach Nick Saban is aware of the situation and the school is currently in the fact gathering process before deciding how to act.

Robinson, a left tackle, was viewed as a potential top pick in the 2017 NFL draft. The rising junior was a first-team All-SEC selection for the 2015 season.

Jones, also a rising junior, is a defensive back who saw action in nine games for the Crimson Tide last season.
