Four-star point guard Charlie Moore committed to California and head coach Cuonzo Martin on Wednesday, Scout.com’s Evan Daniels reports.

Moore was formerly committed to Memphis under Josh Pastner, and reopened his recruitment when Pastner took the head job at Georgia Tech.

The Chicago native rates as the No. 65 overall prospect in the 2016 class in Scout’s rankings. A crafty playmaker and perimeter scorer, Moore should figure into the team’s backcourt plans with the departures of Jaylen Brown and Tyrone Wallace.

"I have a great relationship with the coaching staff and I feel it's where i can succeed and so [will] the team," Moore told Scout.

Moore picked the Bears over teams including in-state Illinois, and Pastner at Georgia Tech.
