Villanova star Josh Hart announced he will return to school.

Villanova guard Josh Hart will return for his senior season, he announced Tuesday.

Hart was an integral part of the Wildcats’ national championship team from last season. After spending two years on the bench, Hart moved to the starting lineup for his junior season, averaging 15.5 points, 6.8 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game in 2015–16.

Hart was projected as either a late second-round pick or an undrafted free agent if he decided to enter the NBA draft.

Hart’s return is a positive development for Villanova, who are returning most of their championship squad next season.
