Jared Atkinson, Parrish Cobb, Donovan Duvernay, Patrick HudsonKameron Martin and J.P. Urquidez have requested their release from their national letters of intent as part of Baylor’s 2016 recruiting class, according to ESPN’s Jeremy Crabtree.

Devin Duvernay will likely be the seventh recruit to request his release, as he has reportedly started the process of doing so and intends to carry it out. Urquidez had already stated he would not enroll at the school, and it was previously reported that Martin intended to request his release.

Cobb, Devin Duvernay, Hudson, Martin and Urquidez are all four-star prospects, according to Atkinson and Donovan Duvernay are three-star prospects.

Baylor has a 30-day deadline to respond to the request by each recruit. A university may grant a complete release or no release. Baylor will also determine whether or not to lift a recruiting ban that disallows any contact between a coach from other schools and the players.
