Five-star center Jarrett Allen has committed to Texas, reports Scout.com’s Evan Daniels.

Allen, who Scout ranks No. 15 in the class of 2016, has reportedly signed scholarship papers to play for the Longhorns next season.

The Texas native was granted a spot in both the McDonald’s All-American game and the Nike Hoop Summit after his senior season at St. Stephen’s Episcopal High School, during which he averaged 19 points and 13 rebounds. Allen also led his team to a 25–5 mark and a second straight Southwest Preparatory Conference title in his final high school campaign.

Allen will now join fellow five-star prospect Andrew Jones at Texas, as well as four-star recruits James Banks and Jacob Young in the Longhorns’ 2016 class.
