Three former Texas Tech players were indicted Tuesday on burglary charges after allegedly stealing seven guns from a home in Lubbock, Texas.

Robert Castaneda, Dakota Allen and Keaton Ellison were indicted on a charge of burglary, a felony that could carry up to a 20-year sentence. The three are accused of breaking into a home between late December and early January and stealing a safe containing seven guns, two digital cameras and a TV.

All three players were kicked off the team in early May for violating team rules.

Allen was expected to return to the team for his sophomore season and start at linebacker. Allen would have played on the offensive line, with Ellison backing him up. All three are not enrolled for the fall semester.
