The Alabama athletics department self-reported 19 violations for the 2015–16 academic year, according to TideSports.com.

Eleven sports were found responsible for violations, with five of them reported against the football team.

The violations against the football team included a former student-athlete who gave free training sessions to a current athlete, impermissible contact with recruits and impermissible recruiting decorations.

The recruiting decorations violation stemmed from a trophy being left in an area where recruits were being hosted.

The coaches involved with the impermissible contact violation will not be allowed to make recruiting calls for two weeks, and cannot contact the involved prospect for 30 days.
