UCLA receiver Cordell Broadus has left the Bruins program for a second time, head coach Jim Mora told reporters Monday.

Broadus, a former four-star recruit, is the son of Calvin Broadus, the rapper known as Snoop Dogg.

Broadus left the team at the beginning of last year’s training camp, just before the start of his freshman season. He remained enrolled at UCLA and returned to the team for spring practice as a walk-on.

Mora said that Broadus is leaving football to pursue other interests. TMZ reported in September that Broadus was designing men’s underwear. He tweeted on Saturday that he is working on a web talk show.
