“The Nebraska Athletics Department is aware of the incident involving Assistant Coach Keith Williams,” the statement said via the Omaha World-Herald. “We will continue to gather additional information and will withhold further comment at this time.”
Williams was arrested after being involved in a two-car accident in downtown Lincoln.
According to Sgt. Kathy Phillips of the Lincoln Police Department, Williams had a blood alcohol content of .15, nearly twice the legal limit.
This is the third time he has been cited for a DUI.
Williams is entering his second season on the Nebraska coaching staff.
