USC senior defensive end Jabari Ruffin was ejected from Saturday’s game against Alabama for stomping on the groin of Crimson Tide sophomore defensive back Minkah Fitzpatrick.

As Fitzpatrick was attempting to get up late in the second quarter, USC return man Adoree' Jackson extended his arm out to help him off the turf. Before he could do that, Ruffin stomped right on Fitzpatrick’s groin, causing a scuffle on the field.

The score was 10–3 at the time.

Alabama would go ahead 17–3 moments later on a Marlon Humphrey pick six.

Redshirt freshman Blake Barnett is starting the game for the Tide.
