USC left tackle Chuma Edoga was ejected from Saturday’s game against Utah State after making contact with an official.

The ejection occurred early in the second quarter when Edoga ran after an Aggies defender after a play. The umpire grabbed Edoga to prevent and altercation with the other player and Edoga made contact with him while resisting.

Edoga had been knocked down late on the previous play.

Edoga, a sophomore from Atlanta, is the starter at left tackle. He appeared in 13 games last season, mostly as a reserve, though he did make two starts at right tackle.
