(STATS) - Three more FCS teams - North Carolina A&T, Illinois State and Eastern Illinois - defeated FBS opponents on Saturday, bringing the total to seven through two full weeks of the college football season.

All three teams won in down-to-the-wire fashion.

North Carolina A&T, ranked 23rd in the STATS FCS Top 25, capped off the night by notching a 39-36 win at Mid-American Conference member Kent State in four overtimes. It was the MEAC school's first win over the FBS in four games.

Tenth-ranked Illinois State slipped past Big Ten member Northwestern 9-7 on Sean Slattery's game-ending 33-yard field goal.

Also, a MAC school fell to unranked Eastern Illinois from the Ohio Valley Conference. The Panthers scored two touchdowns in the final four minutes, including Mitch Kimble's 7-yard pass to Devin Church with 56 seconds remaining, to drop Miami of Ohio 21-17.

Next Saturday, top-ranked North Dakota State is among the FCS teams playing against the FBS, visiting No. 16 Iowa.
