Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy is against playing a non-conference football game at home without an officiating crew from the Big 12 conference, according to Jake Trotter of ESPN.com.

“In a contract with a Power 5 school, you're going to exchange officials on your one-to-one games. Otherwise, I would not go into a game without Big 12 officials,” Gundy said. “We're playing a school that does not want to use our officials, you move on and find another school.”

His comments come just days after the Cowboys were upset by Central Michigan 30–27. The Chippewas managed to complete a Hail Mary with no time left on the clock and no call from Mid-American Conference officials. The Big 12 later said that the last play of the game shouldn't have happened, but that the result could not be overturned.

“The one area that disappointed me was, that I couldn't just take my shirt off and lay on the field and protest,” Gundy added.

The MAC officiating crew and the two-person Big 12 instant replay unit have been suspended two games for their error.

Oklahoma State will host Pitt next weekend.
