USC linebackers Osa Masina and Don Hill have been suspended from team activities, head coach Clay Helton told reporters on Tuesday.

Both players missed the first two games of the season for the Trojans as the Los Angeles Police Department investigated sexual assault allegations.

There is no timetable for their return from suspension. The players have not been charged with any crime. Masina's attorney tells the Los Angeles Times that he is on “interim suspension pending administrative review of a title IX investigation.”

Hill and Masina were allegedly involved in a sexual assault in July. The alleged victim claimed Masina gave her Xanax and alcohol at a USC fraternity party on July 14 before taking her to Hill's apartment, where the two players allegedly raped the woman. Masina, 19, allegedly took photos and videos of them having sex and sent them to the woman's ex-boyfriend. Masina is also accused of sexually assaulting the woman a second time in Utah.
