Louisville's football team will pay tribute to the late Muhammad Ali on Saturday with a special helmet decal.

The Cardinals will wear the helmets when they host Florida State on Saturday at noon ET.

The red chrome helmets feature a white butterfly containing the word "ALI." The butterfly references Ali's famous quote, "Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee."

SI remembers Muhammad Ali

Ali, who was born Cassius Clay, was born and raised in Louisville. In addition to becoming heavyweight champion of the world, he became one of the most prominent social activists of the 20th century, speaking out against racism, the Vietnam War and numerous other sociopolitical issues.

Ali died on June 3 at age 74 after a long bout with Parkinson's Disease.

Louisville, ranked No. 10, is 2–0 entering its game against No. 2 Florida State.
