D.J. Harvey, a four-star recruit out of Dematha Catholic High School (Hyattsville, M.D.), has verbally committed to Notre Dame, according to Evan Daniels of Scout.com.

“I’m going to Notre Dame and I chose Notre Dame because of the relationship that I have with the coaching staff and how interested and how devoted coach [Mike] Brey was in me through the whole process,” he told Scout.

Harvey is the No. 8 ranked shooting guard and No. 43 overall recruit in the class of 2017.
