Alabama starting tailback Damien Harris left Saturday’s game against Kent State with a leg injury.

Harris was injured on his fourth carry of the game and was carted off the field after his leg bent awkwardly on a low tackle. He was ruled out for the rest of the game.

Entering Saturday, Harris led the No. 1 Crimson Tide in rushing, with 327 yards and averaging 9.1 yards per carry.

He was replaced by freshman Joshua Jacobs, who ran for two touchdowns in the first quarter. Alabama led Kent State 34–0 late in the first half.
