Can Clemson, Louisville make playoff runs out of the ACC?

Louisville visits Clemson this weekend in a highly anticipated clash between members of the ACC Atlantic division. The Cardinals feature the leader in the Heisman Trophy race, sophomore quarterback Lamar Jackson, while the Tigers boast a signal-caller who led them to the national championship game last season. Even though fellow ACC Atlantic member Florida State remains in the hunt for a College Football Playoff berth, the winner of this game will be in good position to push for a spot in the final four. It's still early in the season, but a loss would seriously damage the playoff résumé of Clemson or Louisville. Can the Tigers' defense contain Jackson? Will Watson rise to the occasion?
