(STATS) - Charleston Southern has moved its home game against Albany State from Saturday to 7 p.m. ET Thursday due to concerns over Hurricane Matthew's potential impact.

Matthew, currently a Category 4 hurricane, is the most powerful Atlantic tropical storm since 2007. It is expected to make landfall in Haiti late Monday or early Tuesday.

Charleston Southern, the 2015 Big South Conference champion, is 3-2. Albany State, a Division II program, is 2-3.
