The Florida State Seminoles head to South Beach to face the Miami Hurricanes at Hard Rock Stadium on Saturday night. The game's start time has not changed despite Hurricane Matthew cancelling other sporting events in the South Florida area.
Florida State looks to rebound after losing to North Carolina 37–35 as the Tarheels made a field goal as the time expired and snapped the Seminoles' 22-game winning streak at home. Freshman quarterback Dillon Francois finished 20 of 32 for 372 yards. Dalvin Cook was the star of FSU's offense as he rushed for 140 yards and caught another 106 yards.
Miami enters ranked No. 14 in the country as they stand at 4–0 on the season. Last weekend they defeated Georgia Tech 35–21. Quarterback Kaaya finished the day 13 of 19 passes for 241 yards and one touchdown. On defense, Shaquille Quarterman and Joe Jackson returned fumbles for touchdowns.
Florida State has won the last six meetings between both teams. Miami last won in 2009.
