Alabama remains No. 1 in latest AP poll, Big Ten puts four in top 10

The Big Ten has four teams in the top 10 of the AP poll for the first time since 1960.

Alabama remains atop the latest Associated Press Top 25 poll as Ohio State sits at No. 2 to lead four Big Ten Conference teams in the Top 10.

The Big Ten has not had four teams in the top 10 since 1960. Michigan is fourth as Wisconsin and Nebraska come in at No. 8 and 10 respectively.

Florida State made one of the biggest jumps of the week as they moved up from 23rd to 14th after handing the Miami Hurricanes their first defeat of the season.

Auburn, Western Michigan and Navy entered the Top 25 for this week.

The AP poll is determined by a simple points system based on how each voter ranks college football's best teams. A team receives 25 points for each first place vote, 24 for second place and so on through to the 25th team, which receives one point.
