AP Top 25: Ohio State, Louisville climb after wild week full of upsets

There was plenty of turmoil in college football this week.

Ohio State and Louisville will be feeling optimistic about the new College Football Playoff rankings after the AP Top 25 was released Sunday

After three of the top four teams were upset on Saturday, the top of rankings look much different this week. Michigan fell from No. 2 to No. 4, Clemson fell from No. 3 to No. 5 and Washington dropped from No. 4 to No. 7. Ohio State is No. 2 after being ranked sixth last week and Louisville comes in at No. 3, up from No. 5. Alabama remains in the top spot. 

USC’s victory over Washington vaulted the Trojans from unranked to No. 15, while the two other giant killers of the week—Iowa and Pittsburgh—are among others receiving votes.

Western Michigan, one of only two remaining undefeated teams, is ranked 14th.
