AP Top 25: Michigan dips to No. 5 after loss to Ohio State

Michigan’s overtime loss to Ohio State dropped the Wolverines in the AP Top 25.

Michigan didn’t fall far when the new AP Top 25 was released Sunday

The Wolverines dropped from No. 3 to No. 5 after losing in overtime to Ohio State on Saturday. The Buckeyes, meanwhile, stayed steady at No. 2.

Clemson climbed from No. 4 to No. 3 after a blowout win in the Tigers’ rivalry game against South Carolina and Washington rose from No. 6 to No. 4 after a dominant Apple Cup performance against Washington State.

Wisconsin, despite beating Minnesota, fell from No. 5 to No. 6. The Badgers will take on No. 8 Penn State in the Big Ten championship on Saturday. 

Western Michigan, one of two remaining undefeated teams in the nation, is ranked 13th. The Broncos will face Ohio University in the MAC championship on Friday night.
