A video showing Oklahoma running back Joe Mixon punching a female student must be released, the Oklahoma Supreme Court ruled on Tuesday.

Mixon, 20, accepted an “Alford Plea” to the misdemeanor charge of acts resulting in gross injury/outraging public decency after punching a woman in the face outside a Norman, Okla., cafe in 2014. The assault left Amelia Monitor with several broken bones in her face.

In February, video of the incident was ruled as public record. Mixon was sued by the victim in July.

The running back was suspended for the 2014 season before playing his freshman year in 2015. In 11 games this year, Mixon has rushed for an average of seven yards per carry, scoring eight touchdowns.
