(STATS) - East Tennessee State will play six games inside its new campus stadium as part of an 11-game schedule in 2017.

The 10,000-plus seat stadium will be christened in Johnson City with a night matchup against Limestone on Sept. 2.

The Buccaneers will host Robert Morris for homecoming on Oct. 7. Their Southern Conference home games will be against defending champion The Citadel (Sept. 16), Mercer (Sept. 23), Wofford (Oct. 28) and VMI (Nov. 4).

ETSU finished 5-6, including 2-6 in the SoCon, in its second season since returning to football after a 12-year hiatus. The highlight for coach Carl Torbush's squad was a season-ending conference win over Samford, an FCS playoff qualifier.
