ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) No. 11 Wisconsin was without point guard Bronson Koenig against Michigan because of a calf strain in his left leg.

The Badgers gave freshman D'Mitrik Trice his first start in place of Koenig on Thursday night.

Koenig is averaging 13.4 points along with two-plus assists and two-plus rebounds. He played through the injury in the previous game, a loss to Northwestern, and was limited to two points on 1-of-8 shooting.
